Ralph R. Trask

SOUTH ROYALTON—Ralph R. Trask, 88, died Sunday afternoon, Oct. 14, 2007 at his home.

He was born August 17, 1919 in Bethel, the son of Edgar R. and Josie (Smith) Trask. He attended Quarry Hill and East Bethel schools, and was a lifetime area resident. He farmed most of his life, logged with horses, was a cattle dealer, and drove dump trucks.

Survivors include his two sons, Ronald Trask of Stafford, Va., and David Trask of Topeka, Kansas; two daughter, Dorothy Squire of Randolph Center and Mary Braley of Randolph; his companion, Violet Martin of South Royalton; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his daughter, Doris Haberern, brother, Glenn Trask; and sisters, Gladys Camp and Bernice Brown.

Funeral services will be Thursday, Oct. 18 at 11 a.m. at the Day Funeral Home in Randolph. Burial will follow at East Randolph Cemetery. Calling hours are from 10-11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
