Disappointed
In School Board

Regarding the South Royalton petition, I am again very disappointed by a South Royalton school board decision. They have a history of not following the wishes of the voters.

They could not bring themselves to complete a study authorized by the town to study a possible merger of schools with Bethel. Now they have taken a petition by 150 voters and decided not to have a revote on the issue before them.

I wonder if the original vote had gone the other way and they were looking at the same petition to have the revote to authorize the new addition, if they would have turned it down also.

Regardless of which way the vote would have gone it is dishonorable of them and a disservice to the town to not have a revote on the issue of the school bond vote.
