FORT MYERS BEACH, FLA.—Priscilla Mae Whitcomb, 66, formerly of Rochester, died October 16, 2007 in Ft. Myers, Fla. She was born January 8, 1941 in Tunbridge, the daughter of Leonard and Mabel (George) White. She graduated from Rochester High School and Rutland Business College. On July 19, 1964 she married Robert Whitcomb in Rochester. She was a bookkeeper for Stowell Chevrolet in Rutland, and Smith Motors in Middlebury, Vt. She also worked for many years for Lyon’s Drugstore, the V.W. Lyon Agency and the Holden Agency in Rochester. After moving to Ft.Myers in the early 1970s, she worked for Hurricane Electric and S&S Plumbing until her retirement. Known as "Cil," she enjoyed watching NASCAR, figure skating, and "Dancing with the Stars." She was a lifelong Red Sox fan, collected Elvis memorabilia and enjoyed cooking and crossword puzzles. Survivors include her husband of Ft. Myers; her mother, Mabel Stark and husband Reginald; a sister, Marie Hartshorn and her husband, David; and a brother, Richard White and his wife, Diane, all of Rochester; along with several nieces, nephews and their families. She was predeceased by her father, Leonard White; and two brothers, Leonard, Jr. and Ralph. A memorial service will be held at a future date in Ft. Myers Beach, Fla.
