Chelsea Teams Face Rochester

The Chelsea boys’ soccer team scored three goals against Rochester to give them a 3-0 victory, honoring their only senior, Joseph Bonasera.

The game remained scoreless until the 38^th minute, in which junior Jim Welch scored off a shot from just outside the 18. The game remained 1-0 during the first half.

Going into the second half, Rochester had an own goal 25 minutes in, giving Chelsea even more momentum. The third goal is what clinched the game. The last goal came off an assist from Ben Frye to Andrew Richardson.

Chelsea finished the game with just 10 players and the season with a hard earned 3-0 victory.

Chelsea Girls

The Chelsea girls’ soccer team lost a nail-biter to Rochester, spoiling Chelsea's senior night. Both teams fought hard, leaving regulation time scoreless.

It wasn't until the overtime that Rochester scored, giving them a 1-0 victory. Chelsea finished up the season with a 10-4 record.
