D&K Celebrates 50th
By Donating Services

In five years, 2012, DuBois & King, Inc. will celebrate its 50th aniversary of providing professional engineering services.

The Randolph-based firm will celebrate by using these next five years to donate $100,000 worth of engineering services to municipalities in both Vermont and New Hampshire.

Though based in Randolph, D&K has offices in both states.

Each year for the next five years, one municipality in each state will be eligible to receive $10,000 worth of engineering services to help move along a project that addresses a community need and provides long-term benefits to the community.

"Municipalities are challenged to maintain their infrastructure. Through the services our firm provides, we have made and can make a difference in the communities we serve," explained William H. Baumann, Jr. President and CEO.

"We understand and appreciate the challenges facing municipalities. Many of our staff are active members of school boards, selectboards, city councils, planning boards, fire departments, and other volunteer groups in their communities. Our objective with the Half Century Celebration is to make a difference."

All villages, towns and cities in Vermont and New Hampshire are invited to participate and will need to complete an entry form, which is being mailed to them. Deadline for entry this year is Dec. 31. The winning project and municipality will be announced during Engineers Week in February.
