HANCOCK—Stanley M. Perry, 90, of Hancock, died Friday night, October 26, 2007 at the Menig Extended Care Facility in Randolph. He was born September 24, 1917 in Granville, the son of Llewellyn and Harriet (Pecor) Perry. He graduated from Rochester High School, and served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. He married Lesleigh Amlaw in Brandon October 21, 1950. He had worked as a welder at the Naval shipyard in South Portland, Maine; and as production manager for Weyerhauser for 49 years, retiring in 1982. He enjoyed gardening and traveling, and was a member of the Community Church of Hancock-Granville, the Vet-erans of Foreign Wars Howard Perry Post #765, and Rural Lodge #29 F&AM of Rochester. Survivors include his wife, Lesleigh Perry of Hancock; two daughters, Jean Middleton of Springfield and Anne Perry of El Paso, Texas; three grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by five brothers: Pearl, Earl, Llewellyn, Howard, and Lloyd Perry; and two sisters, Hazel Long and Agnes Boutell. Memorial services will be held Saturday, Nov. 3 at 2 p.m. at the Community Church of Hancock-Granville, with the Rev. Wayne Holsman, officiating. There are no calling hours. Private family burial will be held at the Vermont Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Randolph Center.
