1^st Place Wins

Shawn Cassidy had a successful racing season this year in the dirt modified division at Canaan Dirt Raceway. He ran his back-up modified all season while his primary car sat idle awaiting a new power-plant. Cassidy achieved four wins, four second place wins, three third places, two fifth places and one sixth place, missing only one point race due to conflicting schedules. Cassidy finished second in points for the season. He received the trophy at the awards banquet a week ago.

Cassidy’s modifieds are not the typical manufactured modifieds like a Troyer, Bicknell or Teo. He designs and builds his own suspension as well as homebuilt chassis and bodies that are proven winners.

Cassidy would like to thank his family and friends, his crew who helped him every week, his sponsors and fans. He will be racing the upcoming 2008 season at Canaan Speedway and Devil’s Bowl Speedway.
