Law students, as well as millions of other Americans, invested considerable effort in the pursuit of the civil rights we now all enjoy. These efforts have resulted in allowing any United States citizen to establish residence in any part of the nation they might wish and thence register to vote. After registration, they may then vote in any public election without fear or favor. The citizens of this country worked hard to reach this point, much to the benefit of all of us. For whatever reason they may have chosen, they are just as entitled to vote for or against the school as anyone else. Joshua B. Powers South Royalton |
