New Head Coach

With a new head coach this year, Jamie Kinnarney and the South Royalton Royals boys basketball team looked at defending their division III state title by having try-outs last week. After getting their roster set, it turns out that there is going to be a large senior night.

The Royals have seven seniors this year. They also have one junior and one freshman. The seniors returning from last year’s team are Miles Ellis, Ki Walker, Tyrell Manning, Joey Kinnarney, Cal Wilmot, and Jake Timian. The Royals added three new seniors to their roster and they are Cody Welch, Jarrid Sherlock, and Dustin Parker.

The only junior on the team is Colin Judge. The only freshman on the team is Jack Howe.

The Royals look forward to opening their season at Hazen Saturday, December 1. The first home game for the Royals will be Friday, December 7.
