Local Girls Play Hockey in N. Y.

On Thanksgiving weekend the Northfield North Stars Girls U12 hockey team traveled to Plattsburgh, N.Y. for the Plattsburgh Youth Hockeypaloosa Tournament. This was an invitational tournament that included Saranac Lake, Lakeshore (from Montreal, Canada) Plattsburgh and The Northfield Northstars.

The Northfield team finished the weekend with a 2-2 record and came in third overall. The girls all received bronze medals. Local players include Libby Start, Brittaney LaFreniere, Erin Easton and Cassidy Engberg and Coach Rob Start.
