SOUTH ROYALTON—Roberta A. Marcroft, 56, died Monday afternoon, Dec. 3, 2007 at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, N.H., with her family at her side. She was born October 21, 1951 in Northhampton, Mass., the daughter of Roland and Audrey (Finn) Daniels. She graduated from South Royalton High School, and went on to train as a licensed practical nurse. She worked at Tranquility Nursing home in Randolph for several years. She married Michael Marcroft Sr. in 1971. She enjoyed spending time with family, and especially, spoiling her two granddaughters. Survivors include her husband, Michael of South Royalton; daughters, Deborah Winters of Sharon and Christy Marcroft of South Royalton; a son, Michael Marcroft Jr. of South Royalton; brothers Roland Daniels of White River Jct. and Robert Daniels of El Paso, Texas; sisters, Shirley Harness of Enosburg Falls and Audrey Frary and Jean Jones, both of South Royalton; and two granddaughters, Kayla Willey and Maegan Winters. She was predeceased by a brother, Mark Daniels; and sisters, Mary Thurston and Darlene Zonin. A memorial mass will be held Friday, Dec. 7 at 11 a.m. at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Bethel, with Rev. Peter O’Leary officiating. There are no calling hours. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Contributions in her memory may be made to the Norris Cotton Cancer Research Center, One Medical Center Drive, Lebanon, N.H. 03756.
