Ralph W. Arbuckle

CHESTER—Ralph W. Arbuckle, 58, died at his home Wednesday, November 28, 2007.

He was born October 8, 1949 in Randolph, the son of Fred and Alice (Greene) Arbuckle, Jr. He was raised in Randolph and attended high school in Hudson Falls, N.Y.

He spent most of his life in waste management. He moved to Chester in 1970 and was employed by Waste Management of Keene, N.H. He also enjoyed working with his good friend, Butch Wilson.

Ralph was a member of American Legion Post #67 and Sons of the American Legion in Chester.

He married Suzanne LaDuc October 7, 2000 in Chester.

He enjoyed hunting and was involved with Little League. Ralph helped build Memorial Field in Chester. He loved his dogs, Sampson and Jade.

He is survived by his wife of Chester; sons Ralph, Jr. and Scott, both of New York, and sons Timothy and Thomas, both of Chester; four step-children: Stephanie, Felicia, Kimberly and Timothy Slade; a brother, Walter of Randolph; two sisters, Pricilla Rodgers of Rockingham and Linda Rodgers of South Royalton; five grandchildren: Michael, Brian, Tony and Shelby Arbuckle of New York and Hannah "HaHa" Arbuckle of Chester; and several nieces and nephews.

He was pre-deceased by a sister, Patricia Arbuckle.

Calling hours were held Sunday, Dec. 2 at the Adams & Kenney Funeral Home in Chester. There will be no services at this time.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to American Legion Post #67, PO Box 75, Chester, Vt. 05143.

The Adams & Kenney Funeral Home in Chester is assisting the family with arrangements.
