Everett L. Morse

ROYALTON—Everett L. Morse, 61, died -Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, N.H.

He was born May 31, 1946 in Burlington, the son of Everett and Pearl (Sweetser) Morse.

He attended Northfield schools, and following high school, worked as a farm hand in Randolph for a few years. He later took courses in welding, auto body repair and auto mechanics.

He married Brenda Manning June 6, 1984 in Sharon. He worked in the area as a finish carpenter for many years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing on the White River, playing cards, working with leather and woodworking. He will be remembered as a man of few words who always put his family first. His memberships included Journey (a Four-Square Church) in South Royalton and the North American Hunting Club. He was a former member of the Windsor Jaycees.

Survivors include his wife, Brenda Morse of Royalton; a son, Justin Morse of Northfield; a daughter, Sarah Morse of Franklin, N.H.; four brothers: Kenneth Morse of Clarksville, Tenn., Gary Morse of Roxbury, and James and Gordon Morse, both of Bethel; two sisters: Marla Crawley of Macon, Ill., and Bonnie Martin of El Paso, Texas; three grandchildren, Kelsi Rogers, Joseph and Nevaeh Morse; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, Dec. 12 at Journey in South Royalton, with Pastor David Wright officiating. Burial will be at the Fairview Cemetery in Bethel, at a later date. Calling hours were Tuesday evening at the Day Funeral Home in Randolph.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Day Funeral Home of Randolph .
