Emma Behuniak

WEST BROOKFIELD—Emma Martha Behuniak, 85, died Friday night, December 14, 2007 at Mayo Health Care in Northfield.

She was born November 8, 1922 in Naugatuck, Conn.; the daughter of Rudolph and Augusta (Deske) Fenske. She was raised in Connecticut and worked for Naugatuck Glass for 23 years, before retiring in 1987. She came to Vermont in 1989, and enjoyed working outside and flower gardening.

Survivors include her son, William Behuniak of West Brookfield; two daughters, Marsha Kendall of Oxford, Conn.; and Beverly Kempa of Ansonia, Conn.; and three sisters, Gladys Reed of Maine, Evelyn Kaderis of Naugatuck, Conn.; and Dorothy Latka of Shelton, Conn.

She was predeceased by her husband, William Behuniak; and her brother, William Fenske.
