Looking for a New Year’s eve party that’s close to home and doesn’t cost a bundle? Come to the next "Shindig" with The Shugarmakers December 31 at the Tunbridge Town Hall. The party will start at 9 p.m. You may bring a dish to share but it’s not required.

The Shugarmakers will be playing many of their old favorites with some rockin’ dancing tunes added recently. The band members include Connie Button on vocals, mandolin and percussion; Jeff Staudinger on lead guitar and vocals; Dave Indenbaum on upright bass and vocals; George Lawrence on slide guitar; with special guests Marco Williams setting the beat on drums and Corey Unger playing his bluesy guitar. The band is working for the door and there is a cover charge.
