Looks for $625K

The Green Mountain United Way is in the midst of its annual fundraising campaign, this year with a goal to raise $625,000 in our five-county region.We serve in Washington, Orange, Caledonia, Essex and Orleans counties and are very happy to say that we have received approximately $210,000 since September 2007.

To those who have already donated, we send sincere thanks for assisting us to make a real difference in our local communities. By working in collaboration with other non-profit organizations, government agencies, economic development and health-related groups, and individuals, we assess our communities’ strengths and weaknesses, research the root causes of those weaknesses and work toward finding solutions to societal problems.

We are confident that we will reach our $625,000 goal by campaign end of March 31, 2008, but only with your help. Please join hundreds of others in your area in our effort to improve lives and bring better quality of life by contributing today. There is still time to make this contribution and get a tax deduction before the end of the year.
