Albay C. Paige

WHITE RIVER JCT.—Albay C. Paige, 73, died unexpectedly at his home Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2007.

He was born October 9, 1934 in Island Pond, the son of Albay J. and Lulu Belle (Belknap) Paige. He graduated from Brighton High School in Island Pond. He held various jobs in logging and agriculture.

He married his first wife, Jeanette White, in 1958. He then went to work for Intertek as an inspector and was with them for over 30 years. He married Shirley (Moses) Hosmer May 12, 2007. He loved fishing and his work.

He was predeceased by his first wife, Jeanette Paige, in 2005.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley Paige of White River Jct.; three step-sons: Josh Hosmer of Vershire, Peter Hosmer of Wichita, Kans.; and Stuart Coburn of Corinth; two step-daughters, Tina Swasey of South Royalton, and Wanda Stanley of White River Jct.; eight step-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and other extended family members.

Services will be announced at a later date. The Knight Funeral Home in White River Jct. assisted with arrangements.
