Progress Made
At Pharmacy

This is a letter to every Brooks-now-Rite-Aid customer who has ever stood in line, for what seems like hours, only to find one of the following: there’s an insurance problem; no refills are available, the prescription line at the hospital hasn’t called the prescription in yet, or the drugstore will need to order your specific prescription because there is none on hand.

I say to every one of you, be patient and it will change.

There is now one of the finest pharmacists in Vermont managing the pharmacy in addition to 2-1/2 other full-time pharmacists, which will help speed up the flow behind the counter.

There is training and supervision as well as support for the pharmacy techs. There is a new system of getting the prescriptions from the hospital prescription line which will allow them to be filled on a more timely basis.

And last but not least, there’s a new attitude coming from behind the counter: we are here to serve, and do it well.
