Win for Chelsea Girls

The Chelsea girls’ basketball team earned a 53-27 win over the Concord Wildcats last weekend.

Chelsea came out of the huddle to begin the game with excellent defense, holding Concord in the teens going into halftime, 27-14.

Coming out of the locker room to begin the second half, Chelsea came out with the same intensity as when they began the game. Robyn Kennedy led all scorers with 15 points, while Heidi Hatch netted 14 points. Tara Powers had 11 points to lead Concord.

Chelsea improves to 5-6 and hosts Blue Mountain Tuesday, Jan. 22.
