Cheryl Mulhern

QUINCY, MASS.—Cheryl A. (Bencks) Mulhern, 36, died January 26, 2008 at Quincy Medical Center in Quincy, Mass.

She was born in Boston, Mass. and was a graduate of Blue Hills Regional High School. She also attended Quincy College and received a BA in business management from the University of Phoenix. She served as a diesel mechanic in the U.S. Army in Alaska for over three years. She worked for the Ready Group in Pembroke as a financial officer. She loved spending weekends on Cape Cod, her cat Misty, and most of all, enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors include her husband, James M. Mulhern, and daughter, Megan Mulhern, both of Quincy, Mass.; her mother Linda (Linn) Bencks and her partner, Linda MacCoy of Rochester; her father, Ronald E. Bencks of Abington, Mass.; and many aunts, uncles, and friends.

Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a scholarship fund for Megan Mulhern, c/o Century Bank, 703 Granite St., Braintree, Mass. 02184.
