Miller Is Winner
Of Print Competition

Janet Osha Miller of Braintree was a winner in a competition at the bi-monthly meeting of the Vermont Professional Photographers held Sunday, Jan. 27 in the Upper Gallery of Chandler Center for the Arts in Randolph.

Among the events for the day was a mini-print competition, with members submitting prints for professional judges to offer their opinions and suggestions for the prints before the bigger PPA-affiliated print competitions, such as the Annual Convention of the Vermont Professional Photographers in April.

For the mini-print competition, members were eligible to submit up to six 11 x 14 images and there were four awards for the highest scoring prints. Since, out of the six prints that Miller submitted, four of them had the highest score of the 65 prints entered into the competition, she took home all the awards.

This is the second year in a row that Miller has been a winner. Last year, she brought home three of the four awards. Miller has been a member of The Vermont Professional Photographers for many years and is currently vice president and programs chair. She is also a member of the Professional Photographers of New England and the Professional Photographers of America.
