Wilhelmina Adams

FUQUAY-VARINA, N.C.—Wilhelmina Van Tassel Adams, 83, died Thursday, Feb. 14, 2008.

Born February 29, 1924, she was originally from Woods Mills, N.Y., and lived in Williamstown for many years before moving to North Carolina. She has family members who live in central Vermont.

Survivors include her husband, William Adams of Fuquay-Varina, N.C.; a son, Gary Adams and wife, Gwen, of Holly Springs, N.C.; a granddaughter, Danielle Adams of Holly Springs. N.C.; sisters Esther White of Pulaski, N.Y., Inez Rose of Antwerp, N.Y., and Isabelle Mudd and husband, William, of Fairbanks, Alaska; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to either Hospice of Wake County, 1300 St. Mary’s St., Suite 400, Raleigh, N.C. 27603; or Kipling United Methodist Church, PO Box 88, Kipling, N.C. 27543.

A graveside memorial service will be held later this year in Vermont for her family and close friends.
