Paletteers Show
Opening March 8

A new Paletteers art exhibit opens Saturday, March 8 at the Aldrich Public Library in Barre.

"This will be the most unusual and challenging show of the Paletteers’ 52 years," says Gene Parent of Brookfield.

The challenge, to combine five unrelated everyday objects in a composition, was issued by oil painter and long-time Paletteers member Robert Murphy. Many media will be represented, including oils, watercolors, pastels, photography and acrylics.

A reception will take place Saturday, March 15 from 10:30 a.m. until noon and the show runs from Monday, March 10 through Friday, April 18. Show hours coincide with library hours and most of the artwork may be purchased.
