RANDOLPH—Agnes T. Strange, 89, died Sunday, March 2, 2008 in Randolph, where she had lived since 2006. She was born November 19, 1918 in Agawam, Mass., the daughter of Oscar and Eva Bouley Tisdel, and was a 1936 graduate of Dalton (Mass.) High School. She lived in Agawam, Mass. from 1918-24, then in Dalton from 1924-2006, before moving to Randolph. She was a homemaker and enjoyed painting, reading, and gardening. She was a member of the First Congregational Church of Dalton. Her husband, Albert H. Strange, Sr., whom she married June 8, 1940, died April 9, 1999. Survivors include two sons, Martin D. Strange of Randolph and his wife, Annette Higby; and Albert H. Strange Jr., of Falmouth, Mass.; a sister, Lorraine Solak, of Belle Vernon, Penna.; and two grandsons. Funeral services were held Thursday, March 6 at the Bartlett-Wellington Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Congregational Church of Dalton, in care of the Bartlett-Wellington Funeral Home, 525 Main St., Dalton, Mass. 01226. ____________ |
