Deborah Fairhurst

RANDOLPH—Deborah L. Fairhurst, 49, died Sunday, March 30, 2008 at her home in Randolph.

She was born December 16, 1958 in Mount Kisco, N.Y., the daughter of Douglas and Florence (Bergin) Fairhurst. She attended Scarsdale (N.Y.) schools and graduated from Scarsdale High School in 1976. She attended Westchester Community College, then worked for the Scarsdale National Bank for several years. From 1991-2005 she worked for the Toa Reinsurance Co. in Morristown, N.J. She moved to Randolph in 2006 to live with her sister.

She enjoyed traveling, working with computers, collecting stuffed animals and family get-togethers. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Madison, N.J.

Survivors include her sister, Barbara Ann Warren of Randolph; three brothers: Douglas C. Fairhurst of New York, N.Y.; Ronald G. Fairhurst of Winston Salem, N.C.; and Allen J. Fairhurst of White Plains, N.Y.; six nieces and nephews, and five grandnieces and grandnephews.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 3 at 10 a.m. at the Green Mountain Gospel Chapel on Rte. 66 in Randolph with Rev. Ronald E. Rilling officiating. Burial will be at the Pleasant View Cemetery in Randolph at a later date. Calling hours were held Wednesday, April 2 at the Day Funeral Home.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Day Funeral Home in Randolph.
