Likes 4th Choice
For Town Offices

The headlines of your April 10 edition said "Building Choice Difficult." Last week I read with interest the thoughtful letter of Hildegard Jones that seemed to cover the negative side of the three choices before the selectboard and offered a fourth choice, that we continue to "utilize our current space with renovations to include improvements necessary to make our town offices updated and staff more comfortable in doing their daily work."

The country is in a recession with plant closings and local jobs lost. It is time to tighten our fiscal belt and ease any future burden on local taxpayers. Staying where we are will solve the problem now facing the selectboard as any of the above three choices will leave the town divided.
