Baseball, And Tennis!

After one of the snowiest winters in history, Central Vermonters are coming back outside without skis and snowshoes.

The skate park in Randolph opened this last week, with all of its installations put back in place by the town crew.

The brand new tennis and basketball courts on School Street opened to the public as well, and were getting good used in last week’s sunny weather.

In the woods behind those courts, Randolph’s unique disc golf course (also called Frisbee golf) was attracting groups of people who were in training for a disc golf tournament to be held late in the month.

At area schools, the playing fields had dried off sufficiently to attract hordes of softball, baseball, and lacrosse players.

Can swimming be next?
