Student Raises
Money for Sudan

This coming Saturday, May 17, there will be a spaghetti dinner at the Braintree Town Hall in Braintree on route 12A. All proceeds will go to the New Sudanese Education Initiative, an organization that is run out of Burlington by Mari Wright and some of the "Lost Boys of Sudan." It is an amazing organization that is raising money to rebuild the schools in Sudan after they were demolished by a violent war.

We have a senior/tech project we have to do at my school and I have choosen to do non-profit fundraising. I have organized this spaghetti dinner to raise money and create awareness throughout my community.

The time to come for good spaghetti, salad, rolls, cake and a refreshing lemonade or iced tea is between 6:30 & 7:30 p.m.

I believe this is great information for your newspaper because the more awareness there is, the more hope we can send to Sudan!
