Forest Street Speed Claims Life of Dog
     I reside on Forest Street and am disappointed with people who assume the 25 mph speed limit means 45 mph or over. It seems as if some people even drive at speeds well over 55 mph.

Doesn’t Like Road Practices
     Vermont highways look like they have gotten hit with a disease. Along the state and interstate highways are large, ugly, brown, very dead spots. Every guard rail, every marker post, every sign post, every rock ledge and even a few telephone poles have had their bases sprayed with an herbicide. Spraying has occurred above wetlands, rivers and culverts, which carry water to streams and rivers.
