Lady Hornets Retire
Bean-Pot with 3rd Win

     The Whitcomb Lady Hornets retired the "Bean Pot" for the very first time ever, Saturday, Dec. 7 at the SHAPE gymnasium at VTC. The "Bean Pot" can only be retired when one of the schools, either Whitcomb or Rochester wins the game three years in a row.

     In these parts just about the biggest story this time of year is the annual Beanpot Game match-ups between the varsity basketball squads from Rochester and Whitcomb.

     At a pep rally for the Chelsea basketball teams on Monday, Dec. 9, athletic directors and the Vermont Principal’s Association honored all Chelsea athletes for a most memorable year in Chelsea sports history.

Randolph Boys Basketball Preview
     The Randolph Guy Ghosts’ basketball team lost six seniors to graduation last year and are looking to rebuild with a fair amount of height and speed. Seniors last year were Alan Albandia, Corey Collins, Andrew Richardson, Nick Shriver, Ryan Collette and Seth Wood.

Season With a Bang

     Last Saturday the Galloping Ghosts wrestling team achieved many of their goals in Spaulding at the North/South Duals. Randolph won four out of its five duals, losing only to Rutland by a score of 48-25.
