     Oh, pleeeze! Stop accusing those who "refuse to vote" with apathy. If it were not for those taxes, Mr. Maroney, "our boys" would not have died. It was not their self-determination that got them there.

Average Folks Get the Shaft
     Once again Congress has passed a program cut of $40 billion dollars. The cuts effect Medicaid, student loans, welfare and child support. The Republicans hail the cuts as bringing entitlement programs into line while ignoring the fact that the burden falls on those least able to afford them.
