plays the first electric guitar ever made in two locations: 12:30 p.m. at the gazebo on Main St. in Randolph; and 5:30

p.m. at the Bethel Bandshell on

Rte. 12. Carillon concert performed by

Toru Takao of Amersfoort in the Netherlands on the 47-bell carillon at Norwich University in Northfield, 1 p.m., free. Seating is outdoors, rain or shine.

Rochester Chamber Music

Society concert featuring violinist Kathryn Winterstein, flautist Vanessa Holroyd, and pianist Cynthia Huard; 4 p.m. (pre-concert talk by Larry Hamberlin, 3:30 p.m.), Federated
