Jody Martin In Lions Soccer Cup

At Sodexho Field on the Franklin Pierce College campus the 33rd Annual Lions Twin State Soccer Cup Classic was held last Saturday in Rindge, N.H. It was a showcase and showdown between the best recent high school senior graduates from both the Green Mountain state and the Granite state.

Central Vermont leaguer and former Rochester Rockette Jody Martin played on the girls' team. The Vermont team won handsomely 4-1.

It was the seventh victory for Vermont in the 24-year history that now stands at 14-7-3. It was also the second time in the past eight years that Vermont won, the last win coming in 2006 breaking a New Hampshire six-year streak.
