William A. Duval RANDOLPH—William A. Duval, 56, died Wednesday, April 30, 2008 at his home in Randolph. He was born April 14, 1952 in Randolph, the son of Edward J. and Pearl (Longtin) Duval. He attended the Beanville School in Randolph. He enjoyed taking daily walks, seeing people laugh and collecting rocks and trinkets. In earlier years he enjoyed hunting. Survivors include three brothers: Edward Duval of Toms River, N.J., Robert Duval of Randolph and Kenneth Duval of Lawrenceville, Ga.; four sisters; Carol Ann O’Connell of Hyde Park, Sandra Sumner of Hartland, Patricia Burke of South Royalton, and Sherry Lumbra of Barre; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and a brother, Michael Duval. Memorial services were held Tuesday, May 6 at the Day Funeral Home in Randolph, with Rev. Ronald E. Rilling officiating. Remembrances were shared by Tina Duval and a DVD of pictures and music, made by Brandy Duval, was shown during the service. Burial followed in Holy Cross Cemetery in Randolph. A reception was held at the Green Mountain Gospel Chapel. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his name may be made to the Clara Martin Center, PO Box G, Randolph, Vt. 05060.
