Appreciates Local Pharmacy

Appreciates Local Pharmacy

I would like to express my appreciation for our local pharmacy and its employees.

Lately I have heard a lot of complaints about time spent in line and speed of prescriptions being filled. If we all look a little bit back in time we can remember the shortage of pharmacy workers in our town. Quite often they would close early or not even open.

We are fortunate to have this pharmacy in our town. If it was not here we would be driving to Barre or even further to get our prescriptions filled, so 20 minutes at 5 p.m. is really not long to wait. There are other times of day when they are not so busy.

We have a wonderful hospital in our community and presciptions from there must keep these workers very busy.

The pharmacists, technicans and employees not only deal with the public, but have federal and state regulations they must follow. They deal with doctors and insurance companies as well (we all know how much fun that can be).

With all that they do I have never been, or seen anyone else, treated with disrespect. They calmly exlpain the situation that may have occurred and are willing to help resolve the issue. I for one appreciate all they do.
