Masil B. Camp SOUTH RANDOLPH—Masil B. "Bill" Camp, 72, died unexpectedly, Monday, Sept. 29, 2008 upon arrival at Gifford Medical Center in Randolph. He was born January 4, 1936 in Randolph, the son of E. Barton and Iva (Smith) Camp. A lifetime area resident, he married Merle Cloud in East Bethel on Sept. 28, 1956. He had worked for Cone Automatic, Goodyear, and Pippin, all of Windsor. He was an engineer at Waterbury Plastics for 38 years, retiring in 1998. He enjoyed driving and restoring antique cars, including a Model A that he completely restored. He also enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, and being with his family. He had served on the board of directors of the Middle Branch Credit Union, and had been a member of the Brookfield Masonic Lodge, East Bethel Community Church, and Montague Golf Club, and a volunteer for the East Randolph Fire Department. He was also a member of the Maple A News, Green Mountain Chapter of the Model A Ford Club of America. Survivors include his wife, Merle Camp of South Randolph; sons, Douglas M. Camp of Belmont, N.H., Vernon M. Camp and his wife Beth of Brookfield, and Greg Camp of South Randolph; daughter, Shari Whitmore and her husband Doug, of South Randolph; sister, Majel Herold of Brookfield; four grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his brother, Marshall Camp. Funeral services will be held Friday, Oct. 3 at 10 a.m. at the Day Funeral Home in Randolph. Burial will follow at East Randolph Cemetery. Calling hours are Thursday, Oct. 2 from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
