Fleet C. Burroughs RANDOLPH—Fleet C. Burroughs, 38, died Friday, Nov. 14, 2008 at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, N.H. He was born August 1, 1970 in National City, Calif., the son of Fody and Helen (Williams) Burroughs. He moved to South Royalton in 1976, then to Randolph in 1979. He attended Randolph Schools and married Tammy Carter on Sept. 6, 1997 in Randolph. He had worked at GW Plastics, was manager of Cumberland Farms in Randolph, had a Schwan’s route in the Morrisville area, and was a dispatcher and deputy for the Orange County Sheriff’s Dept. He enjoyed riding his Harley, spending time with family and friends, and chatting online with friends. Survivors include his wife, Tammy Burroughs, son, Jacob, daughters, Kellsi and Ashelyn, and mother, Helen Burroughs, all of Randolph; and sisters, Cathy Therrien of Leicester, N.C., Karen Draper of Dallas, Ga., and Kriss Rivera of San Bernardino, Calif. He was predeceased by his brother, Warren Gill, Jr., and sister, Fodie Burroughs. Calling hours will be Thursday, Nov. 20 from 6-8 p.m. at the Day Funeral Home in Randolph. Contributions in his memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 1460, Williston, Vt. 05495.
