Home Invasion In Royalton

Yesterday afternoon state police in Royalton confirmed there had been a “home invasion”—a burglary to an occupied residence—in Royalton late Tuesday night, June 30.

Sgt. Craig Gardner said that investigation of the incident had been turned over the Bureau of Criminal Investigation, a division of Vermont State Police.

Sgt. Gardner said the investigation was in its early stages and he anticipated BCI would issue a release in the near future.

When asked if there were any injuries, he said he could not comment.
