Kids Place Kicks Off New Year With New Randolph Home

Kids Place, a non-profit, supervised visitation and exchange program in Orange County, has found a new home to call its own at 25 Forest Street in Randolph.

Under the Direction of Connie Button, a lifelong Orange County resident, Kids Place serves families throughout Orange County and surrounding areas, by providing a safe and neutral environment for children to visit and maintain contact with their non-residential parents. Kids Place provides services in Chelsea, Bradford and Randolph, thereby reaching families in remote locations throughout the region.

The move to the new Forest Street facility was made possible by a Safe Havens grant, secured through the Department of Justice, Office of Violence Against Women. The goal of the Safe Havens funding is to expand services to families experiencing domestic violence in a safe and secure setting. The new location allows Kids Place to expand services and hours to now include daytime visits and exchanges, in addition to offering the Nurturing Parenting Program.

To celebrate the move, Kids Place will host an open house Friday, Feb. 12 from 4-6 p.m. All are welcome and invited to attend.

For more information about Kids Place and the services offered, call 728-3860, or come to the open house at 25 Forest Street, Unit One, in Randolph.
